Bad traffic can increase server load, using up resources which can result in downtime and put additional strain on bandwidth, and sometimes it's all coming from that one, pesky, IP address. Our Hosting platform has a handy dandy tool for blocking it, and it's easy.
Log in to the Hosting platform, go to the server in question and select the Security tab.
Scroll down and there's a section Website Blocked IPs. Click on Add IP, enter the IP address and give it a reference then click Block IP.
Once added it shows in the Blocked IPs section at the bottom, and to remove it again just click the delete button on the right.
